About

The girls have moved to the beach

I have attempted this blog (on advice from my handsome son) to spare my wonderful friends time wasted in downloading photos and reading emails after we’ve already talked on the phone. If I keep this current, you can just check periodically to see if I am alive, in jail, or gainfully employed. I’m living my dream in paradise, but I miss my boys and my amazing friends. Please visit soon and visit often, it’s 73 degrees and sunny today!

  1. I love your site. Keep it up !

  2. Well looky here!!! I wondered what happened to you?? I got this from Karen Clark. Hope all is well. Karen told me about Jan I was bowled over by that one.

  3. Keep up the good work – keep nailing the miscreants at BP, along with our idiotic Federal government!!!
We live in Duluth, GA & have a close friend who generously shares her house in Surside Shores, so we have spent quite a bit of time on the formerly pristine sands and will be coming for two weeks in August & two weeks in October. We love the area and it is sad to see what irreparble(?) damage is being done to the fragile eco-system, not to mention the lives and livlihoods of untold thousands of locals who depend on the gulf for income.
Keep plugging away and PLEASE keep us informed on the progress, or lack there of. We will be there, oil or not!

  4. Thank you, thank you. Every day I meet someone on the beach who came because they love this peninsula, knowing their vacation will not be respite they have come to expect and love. We are all so grateful to y’all and your loyalty. I’m on Palmetto and look forward to seeing you in August. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make your time here more pleasant. Bring Dawn and disposable sandals. Lynne

  5. Hi, nice to meet you !
